You remember that episode off Futurama where Fry had 100 cups of coffee and then time and space slowed down?

Based on a drawing by `delya which you can see HERE

This render was designed specifically to be used as a wallpaper, because I robbed everyone of a wallpaper version of Nimbus, (due to the fact that it would be impossible). It probably works well as a print too, but that comes later.

This image wasn't too complicated so I don't think the technical details are necessary. The fractal was made in Ultra Fractal. Maya was used to model the Zurd and mental ray was used to light it.

The colors came out really nice on this one as did the fractal background. Looks like water rings~ very calm and soothing. :>
