This is it, the one you've all been waiting for.... I hope.

Notice the higher quality of the 'caustics' on the ground, and the slight resolution ratio change. It is now 1.5 ratio instead of 1.333, because there are more print sizes to buy at 1.5 and only one at 1.333. Also, this preview, is EXACTLY 1/10th the full resolution. Sample images from the full res one can be seen at [link] and [link]

Hopefully this will be approved for print soon.

[[update]]

For those of you who want a larger resolution version, there is a wallpaper version I made a long time ago that you can get at this [link]

It's less detailed, but still good.

Daily Deviationa long long deserved daily deviation for Orange Apple Banana PRINT by *DivineError. his work with glass like materials is outstanding and makes him belong to the best 3d artists at DA. i recommend his gallery for more examples of absolutely photorealistic 3d imaging. Very awesome. How the hell long did that take to render the print sized one? Looks like days.

Once again, I love your caustic images.
After giving up on caustics in 3D Studio Max, I downloaded Maya Personal Learning Addition, then went to find Mental Ray beta for Maya...then I found out that it isn't available for Maya PLE :( I still can't figure out good caustics in Max. I guess i'll find a tutorial.
3ds max 6 comes with the mental ray renderer which can handle caustics pretty well.

not to complicate things or anything, but technically mine arent caustics, mine are final gathering that get traced through the glass. i hardly ever actually use photons to make caustics

--
camendesign.com - code is art
50 megs as a tif, 162 as a bmp

with my magical optimization knowledge it took less than a day
