It seems kinda jackass'ish to use your own wallpaper, but I make these things because I like them, so
. Normally I wouldn't even use a wallpaper, but it was getting too boring on that drive.
I have two hard drives I boot from, this is the one I use when I need to render shit constantly and can't be bothered with my mess of icons and those distractions. This is the one I use when I gotta be 'productive' and make sure it won't crash. You'll see my Maya icon in the quicklaunch bar, as well as a shortcut to a cmd window for rendering command line, and of course winamp for passing those long render hours more easily. My other drives desktop is pretty standard, full of icons, folders, random garbage, you know.
The thing rendering is a test of a new shader I had a friend of mine program that allows custom reflectance distribution along with real anisotropy, although the test there wasn't showing off the custom distribution curves. I'll most likely be using this shader pretty soon once the bugs are worked out.
