Seems hard to believe that these aren't actually something you could reach out and pick up.

As you've pointed out, the internal reflections there are wonderfully rendered.

Do wonder what that would look like with a less diffuse light source - the reflections and shadows would look quite interesting I'd think.

...I also find myself thinking that I so need to see what happens if I get a laser pointer near one of these things. The result of course would probably be me going blind...but that's not the point.
